Tulane RecycleMania Competition
The teams that collect and weigh-in the largest amount of recyclables* will win prizes based on the size of their team:
Small Group (1-10 members)
Medium Group (11-25 members)
Large Group (26-50 members)

Residence halls, sororities, fraternities, student organizations,
and groups of friends are all welcome.

1st Place -
"Crescent City Farmer's Market Green Plate Special"
(Gourmet lunch made from local produce)
2nd Place - Ice Cream at the Creole Creamery
Medium Group
1st Place - Group Entrance to the Audubon Zoo
2nd Place - Snoballs from Plum St. Snoballs
Large Group
Grand Prize - Pizza Party at the Rat
Weigh-ins
Official weigh-ins will occur on Fridays from 12pm – 2pm
on the Willow Street side of Butler House Residence Hall.
Weigh-ins will be held on February 8, 15, 22 and 29; March 7, 14 and 28; April 4.
There will be no weigh-in on March 21 during Spring Break.
*Recyclables include paper, cardboard, plastic and aluminum cans.
Contest Rules
Teams are required to have 2 co-captains.
Maximum of 50 students per team (including captains).
Teams will be assigned to a size division based on the number of registered students per team.
Each student may be registered on one team only.
Each registrant must provide a valid Tulane email address.
At least one team member must be present at weigh-in with recyclables.
Only recyclables weighed in on the above dates will be counted towards total.
Registration ends on Thursday, April 3, 2008.
Only Tulane students may participate. Tulane faculty, staff or departments may donate recyclables to a student team of their choosing.
